Dorial Green-Beckham among three MU football players arrested

Dorial Green-Beckham was among three University of Missouri football players arrested late Wednesday and charged with possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

University of Missouri Police Captain Brian Weimer said officers approached a white Lincoln Navigator at 11:49 p.m. Wednesday and determined the individuals were in possession of marijuana. The three were arrested and released.

Freshman wide receiver Levi Copelin and freshman linebacker Torey Boozer were also arrested. Boozer and Copelin are expected to redshirt this season. Green-Beckham, the nation's No.1 recruit, caught his first career touchdown pass in last Saturday's game against Central Florida.

Weiner said the three were cooperative during the situation.

Missouri released a statement saying the three will be suspended for Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.
