The Jefferson City Lady Jays and Helias Lady Crusaders will meet Thursday for the Class 2 District 9 Tennis Tournament title after semifinal wins Tuesday at Washington Park.
The Lady Jays played first Tuesday and defeated Waynesville 5-1.
The No. 1-seeded Lady Jays (12-5) won the first five contested matches to clinch the win over the fourth-seeded Lady Tigers. The teams then completed the final match in progress to wrap up the dual.
