Helias beats South Callaway 9-3 in softball

Good things usually happen when you put the ball in play. Well, Helias only struck out once Monday night.

The Lady Crusaders rapped out 16 hits in a 9-3 victory over South Callaway at Duensing Field.

“We had some good, hard shots,” Helias coach Dan Campbell said. “I was very pleased with our at-bats tonight. We hit a lot of good balls and girls attacked strikes. That’s what we’re looking for.”
