Blue Springs sweeps Jefferson City in volleyball

The Blue Springs Lady Wildcats came into Monday night’s volleyball match at Fleming Fieldhouse ranked seventh in the state in Class 4, and it didn’t take them long to prove their worth.

The Jefferson City Lady Jays threw everything they had at the Lady Wildcats in the first game, and still Blue Springs emerged with a win.

Jefferson City then had a bit of a hangover at the start of the second game and Blue Springs took advantage, putting the finishing touches on a 25-19, 25-16 victory.
