The accolades keep coming for O’Hara Fluellen. The Lincoln senior defensive back was named to the Daktronics Super Region 3 All-Region second team, it was announced Thursday.
Region 3 consists of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, of which Lincoln is a part, the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, the Great American Conference and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Fluellen led Lincoln with 67 total tackles, including 55 solo tackles, finished second in the MIAA in passes defended with four interceptions and 11 pass breakups. That pass breakup total ranked first in the conference.
Logan Freeman of Central Missouri was one of those MIAA players selected to the squad, making the second-team offensive unit as a lineman. He was the only Central Missouri player selected.
Freeman (Helias High School) started every game at center this season for the Mules. The senior started every game in the last three seasons at Central Missouri.
