Helias goes 2-1 in duals

ARNOLD, Mo. — The Helias Crusaders opened the wrestling season in winning style Wednesday night, going 2-1 in three duals at Fox High School.

Helias beat Fox 33-25 to open the night, then bested Hillsboro 37-12 in its final dual. Helias fell 47-34 to St. Charles West in the middle dual, but in the nine contested matches, the Crusaders outscored the Warriors 28-17.

In JV duals Wednesday, Helias defeated Fox (36-24) and St. Charles West (46-32), while tying Hillsboro at 30.
