The 2012-13 college basketball season is a little more than two weeks old.

So it’s really too early to make any judgments. You can’t really count many teams out, but you also can’t include too many teams in the national championship picture.

Here’s my take on what should be a fascinating several months leading up to March Madness.

Five contenders

These are five teams I believe have a legitimate shot at winning the national championship.
