Man arrested after crash

Three people were hurt after a one-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Miller County.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. on road W-12 in Rocky Mount.

The driver, Tyler Jackson, 21, Lake Ozark, swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle went off the road, overturned and struck a utility pole. Jackson had minor injuries, but refused medical treatment.

A passenger, Breanna Brinkman, 20, Eldon, was treated for moderate injuries while another passenger, Ashley Sheats, 20, Osage Beach, was treated for serious injuries.

Jackson was wearing a seat belt, but Brinkman and Sheats were not.

Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated plus careless and imprudent driving.
