Russellville Locker is longtime community business

A couple’s dream came in a surprising package. But 63 years and four generations later, the Russellville Locker continues to process meat for its community.
“They always wanted to be in some sort of business together,” Mike Wyss said of his parents, Howard and Berniece.
Shortly after returning from World War II, Howard approached Bill Miller, who owned the city drugstore and was building a locker plant. What he had hoped for was to be hired to operate the facility. What he got was the opportunity to buy the business with a GI loan.
