A rural Christian television station was invited by the Israeli government to film a documentary. Their trip was extended by four days due to Hurricane Sandy. But the four-person team returned a week before the latest conflict with the Palestinians.

"It was a God plan; a bigger power was at work," said host Karen Dye of the team's safety and the timing of the project by Christian Television Network's KNLJ station in Jefferson City.

Station manager Vickie Davenport; videographer Jonathan Yeakey; Dye, who hosts the international program "A Courageous Heart," and Pastor D.J. Pitman from Branches of Christ Church, Acworth, Ga.; left America with some preset expectations of what they would see and how they would create their shows.
