Next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Mid-Missourians will get a chance to meet the three final candidates to be Lincoln University's next president - before LU curators make their final choice.
But we won't know until later this week who those three candidates are, because the search committee on Tuesday still must interview the last two of the six finalists for the job - then choose the final three.
"We met in St. Louis (Nov. 9 and 10) and interviewed two candidates on Friday and two candidates on Saturday," Presidential Search Committee Co-Chair Greg Gaffke told fellow curators last Friday.
"We had hoped to interview all candidates that weekend - but circumstances beyond their control prevented two of them from getting to the interviews."
