JCPD investigating burglary at Boys and Girls Club

Jefferson City police are investigating a burglary at the Boys and Girls Club, 727 East Elm Street, that occurred Sunday evening.
Officers arrived on scene around 6 p.m. and found an open window. They then set up a perimeter on the business.
When officers made entry into the building they found no one inside.
After speaking to a staff person who had arrived, it was determined that electronic gaming consoles were taken.
No signs of forcible entry were present.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.

We should do what Mali does. Cut their hands off. Bet that would stop people from stealing. Barbaric? Yes. But what is a thief?
