A proposal to vacate Chestnut Street to Lincoln University is in question and whether the Jefferson City Council acts on the issue Monday is yet to be decided.
The issue was placed on the council's informal calendar at the Nov. 5 City Council meeting after several residents voiced concerns about the possible impact on traffic in the neighborhood.
