Operation: Guardian Angel puts together 1,160 packages for USS Green Bay

Volunteers throughout Jefferson City worked in assembly line fashion Saturday to put together 1,160 care packages for each marine and sailor aboard the U.S.S. Green Bay.
The packages, which are hoped to be delivered in time for Christmas, were assembled as part of Operation: Guardian Angel, a follow-up project to 2011’s Operation Tyler, which supported Tyler Huffman, a Mid-Missouri marine wounded while serving in Afghanistan.
