BOLIVAR, Mo. (AP) — A southwest Missouri man has been charged with plotting to shoot up a movie theater screening of the final “Twilight” film.
Twenty-year-old Blaec Lammers of Bolivar was charged Friday with three felony counts, including making a terrorist threat. No attorney is listed for him in online records.
Bolivar police wrote in the probable cause statement that Lammers’ mother contacted authorities Thursday. She was concerned that her son had purchased weapons similar to the ones used in the Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting.
Lammers told authorities he intended to shoot people at a Sunday “Twilight” screening and a Walmart store. Police say he bought movie tickets, two assault rifles and 400 rounds of ammunition.
A phone message that The Associated Press left at Lammers’ home wasn’t immediately returned.

Ms. Lammers thank you very much for your bravery and common sense approach to this matter. You recognized that your loved one had done something way out of bounds of ordinary. You knew your loved one recently purchasing two assault rifles and 400rounds of ammunition had nothing to do with his constitutional right to bear arms...you recognized it was intended for a more sinister reason. Indeed your common sense approach to this matter saved lives and for that we all owe you a great deal of gratitude.
May the lord look down upon this family and comfort their souls and may the lord almighty rid the evilness that festers within this young man heart that would make him feel the need to do such ghastly an act of slaughtering innocent people. May the lord continue to watch over us all. Amen.
Again Ms. Lammars...thank you. You are truly a child of god.

Yep a strong ethic and individual responsibility stopping violence before it happened. No government needed and no reason given to those who would oppress the rights of law abiding citizens by demanding non-Constitutional gun control.
Good show Ms. Lammars
Only someone with an agenda would try and turn your actions into a political statement.

All I can say is "whew". Nice job good Lady.
And Connor? What's with the last quip? What kind of political statement would it make? I can't garner that from the story's details as printed.
Here's what I got; some nutcase had it in his head to wreak mayhem and death upon moviegoers. His mother noticed, notified the authorities who took her report as credible, and the would-be assailant was apprehended without incident, and nobody goes home maimed or killed.
Where's there anything political about it? And what was your agenda with your statement about anyone having an agenda?
Nevermind. No need to answer that.
May Harmony find you.
