The Jefferson City Community Thanksgiving Service will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Community Christian Church, 409 Ellis Blvd.
Several congregations will be represented with a bell choir performance, scripture reading, leading prayer, vocal music and testimony.

Each year the Thanksgiving service benefits a local charity or agency.
The Missouri National Guard's Partners in Care initiative will benefit from a love offering this year.
