Crafton shines

COLUMBIA — Sydney Crafton scored 13 points to help the Missouri women’s basketball team to an 88-55 win against Chicago State on Monday at Mizzou Arena.

Crafton (Jefferson City High School) was 6-of-12 from the field in 18 minutes.

The Tigers had little trouble against the Cougars as they led 51-26 at halftime and cruised to a 2-0 start.

They shot 53 percent from the floor in the first half, which included five 3-pointers.

Bri Kulas led the Tigers with 14 points and eight rebounds. Lianna Doty added 10 points.
