City: More applications for finance director job

More than 70 show interest in opening

Jefferson City is continuing its search for a new finance director and has received much more interest in the position this time around. The deadline for applications was last week, and City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus said 73 applications have been received.

During the last search, only 19 applied for the position, he said.
