Mo. girl found near road after missing 8 hours

IRON COUNTY, Mo. (AP) — A 6-year-old southeast Missouri girl who went missing while deer hunting with her father has been found safe eight hours later.
KMOV (http://bit.ly/Tm3Ajq) reports the girl disappeared around 6 a.m. Saturday while hunting with her father in a wooded area, and she was found at 2:15 p.m. walking along a road.
Police say 75 people, tracking dogs and emergency helicopters assisted with the search after the girl's father called for help.
The girl's orange vest and had were found during the search, and dogs were able to pick up her scent.
Police are not identifying the girl because her mother had not yet been notified as of mid-afternoon Saturday.

Must be more to this story. How do you lose your 6 year old when she is with you in the woods while hunting???
