Republicans win Cole County Commission races

Republicans won both races for the Cole County Commission on Tuesday.

For the Western District seat, Kris Scheperle defeated Democrat Len Stella, 13,199-4,977. Scheperle will take the place of current commissioner Chris Wrigley, who Scheperle defeated in the August primary.

For the Eastern District seat, incumbent Jeff Hoelscher defeated Democrat Ed Williams, 12,092-5,326.
