Delta Air Lines will end its service at Columbia Regional Airport in February, rejecting a deal from the city for a $3 million minimum revenue guarantee to continue service.
At a press conference Tuesday, Columbia officials announced the deal offered to Delta and that it had been turned down by the airline.
"Delta declined to accept the offer and chose to exit the market," said City Manager Mike Matthes.
