Jefferson City Council approves noise ordinance
Tuesday, November 6, 2012
After months of discussions, the Jefferson City Council approved a new noise ordinance. It seeks to establish a measurable way of determining when a resident or business is in violation of the ordinance through decibel readings.
The council approved the ordinance 9-1 with 3rd Ward Councilman Bryan Pope casting the only opposing vote.

Since the football stadium is in a residential area, will they shut down the games if they're too loud?

They need to point those damn speakers at the field and audience and not at the entire city. If I need the score I have a radio.
