’KKK’ written on cars, homes in Richmond Heights

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. (AP) — Police in Richmond Heights are investigating after someone scrawled “KKK” on homes and cars in a neighborhood of the suburban St. Louis town.

Residents say they were shocked to find the references to the Ku Klux Klan over the weekend. Police so far are declining comment. Richmond Heights is a middle class, integrated suburb in central St. Louis County.

It is so sad that we still have so much hate in this country just because of skin color.

0

spelchek 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I'm assuming you're applying equal opportunity when comes to all skin types hating other skin types?

newone 6 months, 2 weeks ago

Yes I am! Why color has to be an issue for any race is beyond me. I will never understand I guess.

Hoax as usual

The only people who write KKK anymore are Blacks

0

connor 6 months, 2 weeks ago

Nope but I have read the MANY articles showing the MANY hoaxes over the last few years. I have not seen even one valid incident evolving KKK anywhere in years. OH but the hoaxes are almost a tsunami.

Therefore until some official investigations proves otherwise... HOAX

For all intents and purposes as a viable group it really doesn't exist that I have ever witnessed.

Here is what I got out of your link...

"There is no evidence the plot was ever attempted."

Keep trying.

Also it seems even his "plot" was a personal thing and I actually question if he is a member of any such organization.

That is the same story as the one we are commenting on here and doesn't say much of anything except having a person of interest.

connor 6 months, 2 weeks ago

Oh wait here is one from a Fox affiliate... According to you that makes it all lies and right wing propaganda right?

fox2now.com/2012/11/05/kkk-written-on-cars-homes-in-richmond-heights/

so I guess it must be all a lie.

I remember seeing about a black person joining the KKK on a movie that our civics teacher showed us in class in 5th grade along time ago, I laughed, true story

This is stupid, but also telling.

This story gives no reason to think that the Klan is a real threat in Richmond Heights, OR that it is a hoax.

The most likely explanation is that this vandalism was committed by a few uneducated people that do indeed harbor racist beliefs, but aren't in a position to do anything about it except commit some vandalism at night.

But connor's eagerness to jump to the conclusion that this vandalism was actually committed by black people committing a hoax says something about his mindset, and his willingness to uncritically assume whatever theory that fits his ideology is the classic mark of a sucker.

Fox News and the radio talk shows get their ratings from people like connor. They serve up crazy conspiracy theories like this, knowing that this manufactured product has an audience full of suckers like connor just waiting to lap it up.

You don't think those businesses know their audience? Hannity and O'Reilly and Sarah Palin don't make millions off suckers like connor because they are stupid. Connor, they're laughing at you all the way to the bank. They know exactly the kind of product you demand, and they produce it.

Me, I'm just laughing.

I wouldn't be surprised if some right-wing talk show host recently did some kind of segment on the idea that the KKK is a hoax perpetuated by black people. This is exactly the kind of product they manufacture. And, as you can see from connor's posts here and elsewhere, he is ready to get out his wallet and pay for anything that reinforces things he already believes. Just sell it to him, and he'll buy it.

O'Reily has a new book. Better buy it and read it... that'll show those liberals!

Connor buys his rebellion against liberals and purchases his "conservative" identity from those in the "movement" that manufacture it, just like liberals purchase their identity by buying the right rock album or the right food from the right store.

But, make no mistake: Buying something ain't rebellion.

We should change our national motto to "there's a sucker born every minute." It's as true now as it ever was.

What about the KKK campaign to Adopt-A-Highway. Do you know what they actually do with those highways once they've got them? It's horrible! How does one get convicted for burning a cross? It's not illegal. Put a church under it and you've got something, but not for punking a cross. The Klan are not viable now, and haven't been for a long time, they can't even spell. Other groups do the attacking. FOX 'n Fiends spreads more fear and causes more racial divide than the Klan ever hoped to accomplish. Limbaugh does it outright and on-air, and he's honored in Missouri for it, a rare feat for the Klan. The Klan, and others organized to protect white people against the un-Christian brown tide, are Darwin's children, doomed and dumb.

So Rush is a Klan member now?

And you guys say Conservative news analysts spread fear.

Keep hoping....

And remember to cast your REVENGE vote.

0

asb 6 months, 2 weeks ago

Is Rush a KKK member? REALLY? Cool, but who's surprised to hear that. The "Revenge Vote" thing is an expression of bigotry BTW.

0

connor 6 months, 2 weeks ago

And actually burning a cross in public I believe is an offense under current hate crime laws. It maybe a regional thing but I do recall reading that during the last toothpaste and lighter fluid KKK hoax.

0

asb 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I don't think we have "regional" laws. It'd be local, state or federal. We have regional culture, like cracker rules, or such.

NEWS FLASH! five white boys caught writing KKK on a wall . . . their lawyer said they thought they'd come up with a meme . . . "Keep Krispee Kreme!" to protest the closing of a doughnut shop . . . one more reason to go to skule kids

The Mystery has been solved!!!!

stltoday.com/news/local/metro/man-arrested-for-spray-painting-kkk-and-obama-on-homes/article_f2b65f1f-2a4c-51a1-8902-b114bf818d18.html

A few highlights

Richmond Heights Police Maj. Rick Zweifel said the man, who was very incoherent when he was arrested around midnight early Sunday, did not seem to be acting out of any political affiliation or with any consistency. He also spray-painted the name "Obama" near Romney signs.

"He didn't target a specific group, African-Americans or whites," Zweifel said. "He just walked around and hit houses and cars he felt like vandalizing."

A spokesman for the Klan said in an email that no one from the KKK was involved in the property damage.

"These types of actions do not come from TRUE Klansmen," the email said.

No mention of the perps race that I saw.

Still a Hoax.

wow 6 months, 2 weeks ago

It's true some people haver cried "Wolf" or shouted "Fire" when there was no danger. Regretfully that has made it even harder for people to get help when it's really needed. Same goes for this KKK stuff. Yes there have been more than a few people who have made claims that the Klan did something to them when in fact these people were only seeking to stir up trouble. Yes there are Tawana Brawley's and Duke rape cases happening and innocednt people have been harmed. BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE!!!! There are are hate groups out there and they have been there for a very long time. These evil people have been able to survive in these evil groups because their membership includes people from all walks of life. Hate groups have survived for so long because there are people who think just becasue theses groups are not right in front of them, these groups don't exist. There are soooooo many "Connor's ou there"who are willing to think the KKK members have to wear their sheet in order to hate people of color. Or that Black Panther's have to wear black leather gloves and yell "Black Power" in order to hate white people. What a Joke. Tattooted Hells Angel's members are not simply riding down the Hwy on their big ole Harleys' and neither are Drug Dealer's just standing out on street corner's pedelling their dope. Hate Group member are criminals and just like most criminals they have changed their tactics. These people are now in the board rooms, Dr's Office's School's, everywhere in our communities...AND YA BETTER UNDERSTAND THAT THE KKK, AND OTHER HATE GROUPS ARE REAL AND VERY DANGEROUS. To think other wise is to think foolishly

0

connor 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I don't believe I ever said one time hate groups did not exist. I believe I said this was a hoax and then said the KKK is irrelevant. As usual Liberals thinking with their emotions and victim mentality and making accusations up so they can feel all superior as they spew out their hate towards what ever Conservatives dared to disagree with them.

I do agree the hate groups are everywhere especially in Liberal/Democrat and Feminist gatherings.

I thought throwing Molotov c0cktails at law enforcement was a sign of tolerance?

0

spelchek 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I'm more worried about terrorists detonating a dirty bomb than I am a bunch of hicks exercising their first amendment rights. Look at black on black crime stats and compare it to the KKK killing blacks for the past couple of years. There is no issue here.

Cool...we agree the KKK and other hate groups exist...they are all equally dangerous to the deteriorating of our society. It's not about liberal or anything like that, it's simply a discussion about reality. Now please let's move...unless of course the Judge is going to discuss why he feels the KKK should have 1st Amend access to my car so as to place their hate literature thereupon. Oh well, it's time to vote.
