A brilliant four-year career didn't culminate in the ultimate prize, but it came pretty close.
Blair Oaks' Brett Voss finished his senior year with a third-place finish in the Missouri State High School Activities Association's Class 2 State Cross Country Championships on Saturday at the Oak Hills Golf Center.
"It was a great race to watch," Blair Oaks coach Marc Keys said. "Third is an impressive performance, something to be proud of."
