WESTPHALIA, Mo. - This was the game Fatima wanted. The one that really mattered.
The Comets got it.
After losing to the Dixon Bulldogs on Oct. 12, Fatima got the last laugh with a 3-0 victory Wednesday night in the Class 1 District 8 Tournament finals at Knights of Columbia Field.
"It's always sweet to get the last W," Fatima coach Kirby Keth said. "That's the one that's most important. These guys, if you call it revenge, they wanted a payback at home. It worked out very well to our advantage."
