The Jefferson City Public Schools has learned several young people are going door-to-door in the Jefferson City area selling magazine subscriptions, saying they are raising funds for the Jays Soccer team to travel to Hawaii.
These individuals are not representatives of JCPS and their sales are not part of a fundraiser authorized by Jays Soccer, Jefferson City High School or the district.
District officials ask citizens who are approached by these individuals to contact the Jefferson City Police Department at (573) 634-6400.
