Jefferson City police continue to investigate a reported strong arm robbery that occurred Monday night.
According to police reports, the call came in at 9:23 p.m. at a residence in the 900 block of Broadway St.
Upon arrival officers were told by the victim, a 26 year old female Cole County resident, that her ex-boyfriend had taken her purse and used force to do so.
She identified her assailant to officers as a 26 year old Holts Summit man.
Officers located the vehicle the suspect left in but the suspect had been dropped off at the corner of Jefferson Street and Dunklin Street.
As of Tuesday morning, he had not been located.
The victim was not injured in the altercation.
