2 arrested on drug charges

Jefferson City police arrested two Cole County residents after finding methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in their car Sunday night.

The driver, David B. Rapier, 48, and passenger Tiffany S. Adrian, 27, were each arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, both felonies.

Rapier is also being held on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Both were taken to the Cole County Jail pending charges.

Police stopped their vehicle at about 9:15 p.m. in the parking lot at 3535 Missouri Blvd. They found drug-smoking paraphernalia and more than 7 grams of meth.
