Your Opinion: Response to Otto on homosexuality
Saturday, May 26, 2012
Dear Editor:
I want to respond to the Nelson Otto letter to the editor published May 23 in the News Tribune titled “Gays also read the Bible.”
I am in my late 60s and when I was a child you mostly heard the word gay around Christmas time. It was a time of merriment as we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today when we hear the word gay the connotation is by and large used to describe male homosexuals.
Recently Barack Hussein Obama and Joe Biden have attempted to give credibility to homosexual unions.
It is a shame that our young people as early as kindergarten are being brainwashed into thinking homosexuality is normal.
I would suggest that if gays also read the Bible they would include the book of Romans 1: 21-32, as it deals with the depravity of homosexuality.
Pray for our nation and people worldwide that they stop deceiving themselves and accept the natural knowledge of God that is written in every man’s heart.
