This is just the beginning for Sarah Rhine. The Eldon freshman won the Class 3 girls high jump at the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
Rhine entered the meet as the top seed with a qualifying jump of 5 feet, 7 inches. She cleared the bar at that same height to win the state championship.

Southern Boone’s Landon Bartel finished in a tie for fifth place in the Class 3 boys high jump, clearing the bar at 6-6.
