Dear Editor:
As an American citizen I am incensed that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder (no doubt from orders on high) is shaking down states that are attempting to enact tougher Voter ID laws. Our election process is inviolable and steps need to be taken to ensure the integrity and accuracy of this process.
I'm appalled that Obama and Holder would use taxpayer monies to try to intimidate states i.e. Arizona and other states from protecting the democratic process when they enacted voter ID.
I urge you to stand against their politically driven assaults, and to champion state efforts to enact and enforce more stringent Voter ID laws. Obama and Holder would have you believe that these laws are a racist effort to keep voters from the polls - nothing could be further from the truth.
A voter ID is a reasonable way to lessen voter fraud.
Mr. Obama has stated that we are not a Christian nation! The sad truth is that he might be right. Regardless of what the leftists say at one time we were proud of our Christian heritage. God did not leave the United States however most of the people in the United States have left God.
In the book of Revelation, chapter 2, verses four and five, may give a little insight to what is happening in America today. Revelation is the last book in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. Pray for our nation that we return to what was our first love.
