Area woman indicted in fatal US 54 crash

The Cole County grand jury handed down indictments Wednesday in several cases.

Among those indicted was a Kingdom City woman charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with a fatal car crash on U.S. 54 near Brazito in November 2011.

Marta Vaca, 29, was also charged with second-degree assault and two counts of possession of a controlled substance from earlier this month.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Larry D. Huston, 56, Eldon was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
