Shots fired call leads to one arrest

At 7:46 p.m. Monday night, Jefferson City police officers responded to a call about gunshots being fired near Argonne and Francis St.
Investigation by officers at the scene determined that the shots were fired near a residence in the 200 block of Argonne.
Officers located spent shell casings near the residence and a possible suspect was interviewed.
The suspect, Cenneth Eugene Tucker, a 27 year old St. Louis resident, told officers that he had set off some firecrackers.
Tucker was arrested for peace disturbance and transported to the Cole County Jail pending charges.

I guess gun fire is what certain citizens of St. Louis consider firecrackers?

Spent shell casings were found, but it was really firecrackers? Something odd about this...
