Retiring coach and teacher Mike Jeffries was honored at graduation by presenting the first service award in his name to senior Emily Allen. The award honors one senior who has completed the most service hours in their four years at Helias.

Helias President Didier Aur said what impressed him most about Jeffries was his 43 years of service to Helias and the Catholic church.

“He gave his heart and soul to serve others,” Aur said.
