COLUMBIA - The Missouri softball team is headed to a Super Regional for the fourth straight year.

The Tigers defeated Illinois State 2-1 on Sunday to win the Columbia Regional with a 3-0 record.

They will host LSU this weekend in a best-of-three series for the right to advance to the College World Series.

Missouri has ridden the success of pitcher Chelsea Thomas in recent seasons. Sunday was no different, as Thomas allowed just four hits while striking out seven in the complete-game victory.
