Lady Falcons rally to capture team trophy

A year after claiming second place as a team, the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons tied for third place at the Class 2 Missouri State High School Activities Association State Track Meet at Dwight T. Reed Stadium in Jefferson City.

The Lady Falcons’ 34 points tied them with Lutheran: St. Peters. Stockton won the girls’ title with 46 points and Monroe City came in second with 39 points.

It took a late push for Blair Oaks to move into the top four. ....

The Falcons doubled their performance from a season ago, scoring 14 points and finishing in 20th place as a team.
