COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri softball team took its first step Friday toward making it to the College World Series for the fourth straight year.
The Tigers opened up the Columbia Regional with a 6-0 win against Illinois State.
Missouri takes on DePaul at 2 p.m. today in a winner's bracket game. DePaul defeated UMass 3-0 in Friday's other game.
