Former Phelps County Prosecutor Courtney George left office over a year ago. But thanks to Tuesday's unanimous Missouri Supreme Court ruling, she'll get another paycheck from the south-central Missouri county's government.
The high court's decision, written by Judge George Draper, doesn't mention a dollar amount, but the Rolla Daily News reported last December that George claimed in her original lawsuit Phelps County officials owed her more than $42,500.
The issue was both simple and complicated.
