Area baseball teams look for titles

Berths in the baseball state tournament will be on the line at several sites today around the area.

In Waynesville, the Helias Crusaders will look to win a district title for the first time since 2004 when they take on the Marshfield Jays at 5 p.m.

The Blair Oaks Falcons (20-4) and Fatima Comets (17-7) will meet for the Class 3 District 8 Tournament title at 6 p.m. in Fulton.

In Class 2 District 14 at Windsor, the top-seeded Tipton Cardinals will face the host school at 6 p.m.

The top two seeds will play for the Class 1 District 10 title today at 6 p.m. in St. Elizabeth as No. 1 St. Elizabeth will take on No. 2 New Haven.
