Linn takes third at Class 1 state golf meet

Led by three all-state players, the Linn Wildcats captured third place Tuesday in the Class 1 State Golf Championships.

Playing at Fremont Hills Country Club in Nixa, the Wildcats totaled a 668 as a team in the two-day event.

The Tipton Cardinals had two all-state players and finished sixth in the event with a 685.

Sedalia Sacred Heart captured team honors with a 641, while Drexel was second at 660.
