HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. — The Holts Summit Board of Aldermen gave first-round approval Monday night to an ordinance authorizing Mayor Lucas Fitzpatrick to hire an architect to develop a plan to renovate a building next to City Hall that would provide more space for the city’s Police Department.
City Administrator Brian Crane said the architectural firm — Porter/Berendzen, Architects of Columbia — will study the feasibility and estimate the cost of building a new headquarters for the Police Department on the top floor of an emergency shelter building next to City Hall.
