St. Louis sports scene featured range of emotions

Sports Commentary

Last week certainly was an interesting one for our state’s biggest city.

During the span of a few days, St. Louis got to deal with something old, something new, and something old that could soon be something new.

Let’s start with the new, as the St. Louis Blues introduced their new ownership group Thursday.

It’s so early in the process we have no idea if this is a good move or not, but it certainly appears that way.

The all-local group is headed up by Tom Stillman, a beer distributor, which can’t help but be a good thing. It’s a good guess this group feels what those of us who care about the Blues are feeling right now.
