Real season starts today for Helias track teams

It’s all been preliminaries up to today.

“This is the only meet that counts,” Helias track and field coach Tom Emmel said as the Crusaders and Lady Crusaders head to Washington for district meets today.

The Crusaders and Lady Crusaders captured district team titles in the same season for the first time last season. Emmel said it will be a tough task to repeat that performance today at St. Francis Borgia.
