Man charged in October incident

A Holts Summit man has been charged with a burglary and leading authorities on a chase in October 2011 in Cole County.

Kevin Hiatte, 45, is charged with one count of second-degree burglary and one count of resisting arrest.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the burglary occurred at a residence on Scrivner Road, near Route D.

Eventually a subsequent pursuit went to the intersection of Tanner Bridge Road and Route B, where three Jefferson City police officers were stationed. That was where Hiatte pulled over and was taken into custody.
