2012 Sketch Day winners announced

Approximately 50 art students from four Jefferson City high schools participated Monday in the 64th annual High School Sketch Day.

The Sketch Day exhibit will be open for viewing from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday in the Railton Gallery of the Miller Performing Arts Center. High schools participating included: Jefferson City High School, Helias Catholic High School, Calvary Lutheran High School and Simonsen Ninth Grade Center.

The Jefferson City Art Club has sponsored the activity every May since 1948. Top honors in this year's competition go to Kangho Eom, JCHS, for Class A Best of Show and to Adrienne Luther, JCHS, for Class B Best of Show.
