FULTON — Addie Mengwasser’s two wins were the highlight of the day for the Chamois track and field teams during Saturday’s Class 1 District 1 Meet.

Mengwasser captured titles in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs to help the Lady Pirates finish in a tie for sixth with 36 points. Valle Catholic romped to the title with 172 points, as second-place finisher McKinley Classical Leadership had just 56. Jamestown tied for 16th in the 17-team event with 1.

On the boys side, Valle Catholic racked up 190 points while second-place Chaffee had 85. Chamois was fourth with 60 and Jamestown was eighth with 14.
