WARDSVILLE, Mo. - The battle for the Class 2 District 3 girls track title was supposed to go down to the wire between Blair Oaks and Fatima. The Lady Falcons made sure that didn't happen.

Blair Oaks cruised to its ninth straight district title, leading the 14-team field with 164 points. Fatima finished second with 122.5 points.

Meanwhile, the Falcons weren't quite so fortunate. The boys finished third out of 16 teams with 98 points. Fatima won the title with 141 points and California came in second with 125 points.

Keys pointed to a few events that really changed the tide for the Lady Falcons, namely the 300-meter hurdles, the 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run.
