Discoveries of faith were shared by local youth and educators at the eighth annual Mayor and Presiding Commissioner's National Day of Prayer Breakfast Thursday in Jefferson City.

David Fox, a retiring teacher and coach at Jefferson City High School, brought with him student-athletes, Fellowship of Christian Athletes leaders and Young Life volunteers.

About 10 years ago, Fox took a leap of faith and followed a friend's invitation to go on mission in Mozambique.
