Zach Dumas talks about growing up in a religious atmosphere, being the son of ministers Chris and Mark Dumas from First United Methodist Church. A couple of years ago, he went on a mission trip to Mozambique and discovered a much deeper belief in a greater being.

Discoveries of faith were shared by local youth and educators at the eighth annual Mayor and Presiding Commissioner’s National Day of Prayer Breakfast Thursday in Jefferson City.
David Fox, a retiring teacher and coach at Jefferson City High School, brought with him student-athletes, Fellowship of Christian Athletes leaders and Young Life volunteers.
About 10 years ago, Fox took a leap of faith and followed a friend’s invitation to go on mission in Mozambique.
