Funding continues to be the main issue for the Cole County Commission as it looks at the possibility of installing warning sirens in the county.
At Thursday's commission meeting, a map of 22 siren locations was presented by Cole County Emergency Management Director Bill Farr and County GIS Coordinator Melissa Johnson.
Areas for siren placement included near Osage City, Wardsville, Honey Creek, Osage Bend, St. Thomas, Henley and Eugene.
