Holts Summit woman charged in assault

A Holts Summit woman was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault in connection with a Tuesday afternoon stabbing.
According to court records, Stacy Phelps, 27, went to a residence in the 300 block of Jackson Street around 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, knowing she was going to be in an altercation.
Police said Phelps used a knife during the fight, causing several severe wounds to Ajia McCray, the primary aggressor. McCray’s injuries were not life-threatening, and she was treated and released from a local hospital Tuesday.

stacy,using her jab and stab technique, definitely was only defending herself from the malicious ajia and her cronies.
